Oil
Dang! I always screw this up. Anyway, a friend of Kent's gave us a little inside tour of an oil drilling operation here in Northeastern Montana. Every time we come out here there are more of them. I guess they drill a new one every 20 days or so. It takes about that long to get one established. Then they may run for years. We saw one today that's been pumping for 25 years now.

Amazing technology! I believe this is oil's swan song. Here's hoping we can come up with another cheap way to move stuff that doesn't kill the planet!
